Ingesting Data into Incentify

There are three common ways enterprise customers ingest data into Incentify

Option 1: Microsoft Excel Bulk Import/Update

No Integration Required

This method is a manual effort a user can perform without the assistance of a technical resource.

Incentify offers a private web page within your Incentify account to bulk export/import data using excel spreadsheets. Incentify enables the user to download a bulk import excel template - which can be downloaded empty of data or with all existing data in the account. If empty, the use case is to add information into the spreadsheet and then upload to import new data. If full of client data, the user case is for the user to make adjustments and then bulk import those modifications. The software identifies changes and only makes the changes requested (also providing a preview of the data to be imported before it actually is imported).

Option 2: Custom Feed Adapter

Incentify Performs Integration

Enterprise customers often have existing systems where data is hosted which have APIs or other integration methods. These customers often contract Incentify to build custom adapters that pull data from these web services, normalize the data and perform CRUD actions on the data on Incentify. Incentify will work with the technical leads to map the data fields appropriately and then build the "feed adapter" as a Statement of Work (SOW) project. This approach minimizes the effort and maintenance for an internal tech team.

Option 3: Incentify REST API (CRUD)

Internal Tech Performs Integration

If an enterprise customer wants to have its own team build integrations, Incentify can expose CRUD API Endpoints to facilitate this effort. In this option Incentify will meet with the internal tech team to understand the integration, help map data fields, provide necessary API Docs to support the CRUD actions and provide technical support along the way.
